Statutory compliance
Asbestos management
Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 places a duty to manage asbestos on whoever is responsible for maintaining non-domestic premises. The duty holder must find out whether asbestos is present, keep an up-to-date register and management plan, monitor its condition, and share that information with anyone who may disturb it.
